An Important Update on NPC20

To ensure the safety of all 2020 National Principals Conference (NPC20) registrants and presenters, the NASSP Board of Directors has decided to cancel this year’s event. Given projections for continued spread of the coronavirus, it would not be responsible for us to proceed with the conference as planned. NASSP will refund all NPC20 registrations in full, including retroactively reimbursing those who already canceled due to the pandemic. All hotel reservations booked through NASSP will be canceled automatically, so no action is required on your part. NASSP is committed to making the best of this difficult situation and our Professional Learning team is already working to bring you NPC20 content through our virtual #NASSPTownHall series over the coming months.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation?

If you made reservations through the official NPC Housing Bureau at the link provided on the NPC website, no action is needed. Your hotel reservation will be canceled automatically with no penalty. If you made a reservation on your own, either directly with the hotel or through other means, you are responsible for canceling those reservations. 

I registered for the conference; how do I get my refund?

You do not need to contact NASSP; refunds will be processed automatically. Credit card refunds will be processed in batches and will take less than a week to complete with credits showing on statements within seven to 10 business days. Checks will take about three weeks for processing. Refunds can only go back to the original form of payment, i.e., we won’t send you a check if you paid by credit card.

Will I be refunded for travel costs?

NASSP will not refund individual airline/train ticket costs. Please contact your airline/railroad service directly regarding ticket cancellations. Each airline has its own policies regarding refunds with changes happening daily. You will need to work with the carrier directly to determine if you qualify.
